MARITZA CUEVAS, PT, DPT

Maritza grew up in Loudon, TN and graduated from ETSU with her Bachelor's degree in Biology in 2019. She then graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2022. Maritza did her first clinical rotation at Premier in 2020 and loved the patient population so much that she decided to return after graduation and serve her community. She found her passion while doing her last clinical rotation at Patricia Neal working with balance and vestibular rehabilitation. Her hope is to incorporate her neuro skills with the outpatient population to decrease fall risk in the geriatric population. Maritza also has her certification in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) which helps patients with diagnosed with Parkinson's. Maritza was born in Mexico and is determined to help bridge the gap between non-English speaking members of the Spanish community and healthcare professionals. Maritza and her husband, Bryan, have a son, Nathaniel, and enjoy travelling, playing UNO, and watching movies.
